The Parkinson’s Association of San Diego conducts a workshop called Good Start Workshop for the Newly Diagnosed. This free, two-hour workshop is for people who are newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s, their family members, caregivers, and friends.

Parkinson’s 5K Walk & Fun Run

April 20, 2013

PASD’s Step by Step 5K Walk & Fun Run includes a Medical Expo with representation from top neurological medical groups, Parkinson’s research companies, and Parkinson’s pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies, the Paws for Parkinson’s™ Pet Festival (with dogs available for adoption), and the Health & Fitness Festival where visitors learn about healthy living, exercise therapy, and voice and dance therapies to assist Parkinson’s patients, families, and their care partners.
