Parkinson’s can be a challenge during stressful and busy times like the end of the year. Take the time to relax in a quiet space, free from external distractions. Don’t over-schedule; decline invitations or activities that may be overwhelming, opting instead to see some of these friends in more peaceful settings at a later time. (What a great way to make the season last even longer!!)
The holiday season is not about perfection, but rather in finding joy in simple pleasures. Re-define or simplify traditions to provide the least stress and most enjoyment for you and your families.
During this season of hope and of joy, the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego is grateful to all of those who have supported us during this past year. In turn, we hope you have found comfort, compassion, and great resources in the information and services we provide.
Happy Holidays from all of us at the Parkinson’s Association!
