Many of you know the Parkinson’s Disease Association of San Diego is now the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego. We’ve dropped the “disease” to reflect the more common thought that Parkinson’s is not so much a disease but a collection of syndromes. This also reflects our hope that a cure for Parkinson’s will be found in the near future. In the meantime, the Parkinson’s Association is here to help!
In addition to our name, we have updated our website and our url to www.parkinsonsassociation.org Please feel free to share any feedback you have as we continue to build on this site and make appropriate tweaks to make it more user friendly.
