Parks in the Park

A new support group has been organized to serve the needs of the San Diego YOPD (Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease) community. The focus of this group will be to discuss the needs, struggles, and experiences that are unique to people with YOPD. Many of us are trying to manage career, family, children, spouses, and a medical regimen that feels like another full time job. Parkinson’s is a big part of our life but it does not define who we are or the future that we will have. Hopefully we can find some levity in the sometimes ridiculous situations we find ourselves in. All members of the YOPD community are welcome! We meet in parks throughout the city of San Diego.  Please bring a lawn-chair/blanket to sit on and your favorite drink to chat over!  We call our group “Parks in the Park”!

If you have any questions please contact Trace Hill for details:

We are looking forward to seeing you!
